Authorities from the city of Bastia on the French Island of Corsica have decided to dismiss a sexual assault case against UFC star Conor McGregor.
Last September, he was arrested on allegations of sexual assault and indecent exposure. French officials then interviewed and released him and this week, prosecutors informed McGregor of their decision not to press charges in a letter obtained by TMZ.
“The examination of the present proceedings does not justify any criminal prosecution since: The facts or the circumstances of the facts of the proceedings could not have been clearly established by the investigations,” the letter reads. “The pieces of evidence are therefore not sufficient for the offense to be constituted and for criminal prosecution to be engaged.”

McGregor has always denied the allegation.
“Conor McGregor vigorously denies any accusations of misconduct. He has been interviewed and released,” a rep for the athlete said at the time. Now there are reports that he could be stepping into the ring with Jake Paul.
