A South Carolina woman was brutally beaten by her babys father on Live, and now MTO News can finally confirm that the alleged abuser is in custody.
On Wednesday, March 17, family members say they went on a frantic search looking for Tashie Vance who was taken hostage by Jesse Tyler Crooks, the father of Tashie’s daughter.
Later on that afternoon, a video of Tashie quickly surfaced after she was beaten by Jesse and two other woman. Tashie was beaten so badly that her aunt, Darlene Atkins said she hardly recognized her.
According to Tashie’s aunt, her babys father lured her to his brother’s house, where there were two unknown women. After a couple hours went by, Tashie started to get a bad vibe, so she went outside and the two women started to beat on her.
The aunt claims that Tashie’s boyfriend joined in with them and they all beat Tashie with his fists and his phone.
And her baby daddy allegedly wasn’t satisfied – so he started to record her on FB live after the beating took place.
The accused abuser could be seen on the video calling her names and yelling at her for keeping his daughter (something the aunt says is beyond her niece’s control) from him.

Tashie’s cousin was horrified when she saw the video, and she showed it to the police.
The Aunt believes if they never got ahold of the video, Tashie would’ve been dead.
MTO News learned that Tashie was only recently released from the hospital. The beautiful mom is recovering from three fractured ribs, internal bleeding in her lungs, broken nose, swollen eyes, contusion to her stomach and more.
Jesse, who is White, has been charged Crooks with domestic violence first degree, kidnapping, and assault and battery by mob second degree. He faces up to 5 years in prison if convicted.
