The attorney has responded to a complaint from Tory Lanez who is barred from speaking publicly about the case — he says that gunshot residue was found on the singer’s hands after the alleged shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
TMZ obtained legal documents filed by Lanez, which claims that the evidence of the shooting contradicts Megan Thee Stallion’s story.
“This evidence — including gunshot residue implicating others — is mitigating, if not exculpatory, and casts serious doubt on the claims made by Megan [Pete],” the document reads in part “In addition to the scientific evidence, the People are aware, witnesses who observed the alleged events also provide information that implicates others.”
MEGAN THEE STALLION ADDRESSES SHOOTING
Meg’s attorney Alex Spiro told XXL, Did the motion fail to mention that there was gunshot residue on his hands or that he texted her ‘Sorry?'” he said. “I haven’t had a chance to read it.”
Reports of Tory texting Megan that he was sorry has been raised before by Meg’s camp. If he did — that evidence would be damning.
Tory denies all allegations against him.
