I loved that they were tapered on the bottom so that I could easily slip them into my snow boots and not have to worry about them riding up. I got the neutral color gray because they can be worn with just about any color sweater or top color. They fit like a second skin but are thick enough so they are not see through which is another thing in which I was looking for. You can move, bend, twist, and they move with you and they are soft and not hard scratchy material like a wool blend can be.
