We’re Fashion Editors—Here are 7 Easy Outfits We’re Wearing This Fall

Oh, hey, it’s us, your favorite Who What Wear editors. We’re back again to showcase our styling capabilities and highlight the newest pieces from our namesake clothing line. If you’re familiar with this series of editor outfits, then just keep scrolling to fill up on outfit inspiration and affordable shopping picks. But if you happen to be new here, then let me fill you in.

As a refresher, we drop new pieces for our Who What Wear line each month, and today, our editors are highlighting the chic skirts, chunky cardigans, and easy mini dresses from the October collection. Even though nothing rings up for more than $70, the cool looks our editors put together are making these affordable buys look far pricier. Ahead, see how we each wear our picks, and then shop our favorites if you’re so inspired.

“The moment I spotted this faux croc leather skirt in our WWWC catalog I knew I needed to get my hands on it—and was patiently waiting for it to drop. Our collection always has solid skirts—and this one is no expectation. The fit is spot-on, and it looks so much more expensive than it actually is plus I’m obsessed with the deep chocolate brown color. Will defiantly be wearing this skirt for months to come.” Pictured: Who What Wear Balloon Sleeve Sweatshirt ($30) and Faux Leather Pencil Skirt ($35); Steve Madden heels

“I was so excited to get my hands on this oatmeal-colored cardigan. The fit is super flattering and I love the little bobbles. The slightly cropped length makes it perfect for wearing with high-waisted jeans, which is what I’ll probably usually pair it with, but I couldn’t resist trying it with this little tennis skirt from Aritzia. It’s kind of the perfect October outfit, don’t you think?” Pictured: Who What Wear Cardigan ($35); Sunday Best Olive Skirt ($88); Loewe Chunky Leather Chelsea Boots ($650)

“It’s sweater season, so this little lavender cardigan has a lot of competition, but the second I put it on, it shot to the top of my favorites list. It’s soft, has pretty statement sleeves, and feels trend-forward in lavender. Can we also talk about the crop? It’s the perfect length to feel proportional on my 5’4” frame without having to tuck it in. Don’t even get me started on the oversized buttons or we’ll be here all day!” Pictured: Who What Wear Cardigan ($35); Holiday the Label Maldives Dress

“Although I usually stick my classic black puffer, I love this printed one to liven up my basics. It makes any simple outfit fashionable, plus, you can never go wrong with houndstooth in my opinion.” Pictured: Who What Wear Puffer Jacket ($70); Tamara Mellon Clash Boots ($695)

Saying this sweater is cozy would be a vast understatement. It’s the kind of never-want-to-take-it-off kind of pullover which I would normally only say of my lived-in vintage sweaters. Thanks to elevated details like a mock neck, voluminous sleeves, and slouchy shape, it’s a step above all those other plain knits. Another perfect sweater box it checks off is being tuckable (not sure if that’s a word but I’m making it one)—here, I tucked it into a slip skirt but I’ve also been styling it with high-waisted jeans lately. “We definitely don’t have cold weather yet in Southern California, so I went with a hybrid summer/fall outfit: the Cord Mini Dress, bare legs, and lace-up boots. Once it cools down, I will definitely be wearing this dress with tights. The puffed sleeves are so cute and the corduroy fabric is super soft. It’s a shift dress so it doesn’t define your waist, but I think that’s a plus since it means it’s extra-comfortable.” Pictured: Who What Wear Puff Short Sleeve Dress ($37); Sam Edelman Nina Combat Boots ($150); Warby Parker Sunglasses

“Right now, I’m adding some transitional pieces to my wardrobe, including this great faux-leather top finished with puff sleeves. I think leather pieces are such a luxe take on wardrobe basics that instantly make them feel polished. I’m wearing this top with loose-cut jeans now and then I’ll be layering it under a trench as we move into fall.” Pictured: Who What Wear Faux Leather Shirt ($33); Monica Vinader Alta Capture Charm Necklace ($795); Daphine Oli Ring ($85); Citizens of Humanity Jeans
