9 Trends That Zara Is Getting So Right This Season

When Zara does a trend, it tends to fully commit and you’ll see it plastered all over the homepage. There are nine categories in particular that Zara is getting really right at the moment, and although we use the word “trend,” these are all classic fall staples, so they will all go the distance in your wardrobe. As we are beginning to slowly transition from summer to fall, Zara’s new-in section is filled with perfect layering pieces for this in-between period, including bodysuits, light knitwear, and faux-leather pieces.

The overarching theme on Zara right now is the dominance of ’90s minimalist silhouettes, particularly with the fitted knitwear, muted color palette, and cool denim. Many of the pieces in the new-in section are also catering to our shifts in routine in 2020, with matching sets and leggings that are perfect for working or lounging at home. Keep scrolling to see the nine items that Zara is getting really right at the moment.

There are so many bodysuits on Zara right now, however, our favorite has to be the sleeved neoprene-effect body with a low, dramatic back.

So many of Zara’s hero pieces right now come in faux leather in a beautiful stone color. We love how they have styled the crop top with a moss green trouser suit.

Knitted matching sets have been a staple at Zara for several winters now, however, thanks to spending more time indoors, we have a feeling they’ll be bigger than ever this year.

Shop the matching Ribbed Crop T-Shirt ($18) and Ribbed Shorts ($20).

Shop the matching Twisted Knit Shorts ($36).

Shop the matching Tube Knit Sweater ($46) and Ribbed Knit Top ($26).

Shop the matching High-Waisted Pants ($50).

This ’90s knitwear trend is perfect for cooler summer evenings. We want the ribbed sweater in both colors.

When it comes to footwear, it’s all about practical sandals that could double as slippers. The tan leather flip-flops with elegant stitching are our favorites.

Zara’s playing with different legging trends for autumn—from ribbed knit leggings to split-front versions.

The cutout knit top in black and burnt orange is quite possibly our favorite thing you can buy on Zara right now.

Chunky chain jewelry and accessories are some of the biggest trends for fall 2020, and Zara has lots for under-$40.

Zara’s denim offering has a distinctive ’90s feel to it, with slouchy straight-leg jeans and denim midi skirts that remind us of Rachel and Monica from the early seasons of Friends
