A familiar face returns to “Supergirl” on Monday night.
“Jeremiah Danvers comes back on Monday – Dean Cain,” David Harewood, who plays J’onn J’onzz, told Access Hollywood as he hit the red carpet on Saturday at the Film Independent Spirit Awards. “[It’s] great having him back.”
Co-Executive Producer Jessica Queller revealed in an “Inside Supergirl” video, released by The CW on Monday, that one person who isn’t making Jeremiah’s homecoming wonderful is Mon-El.
“Kara and Alex are so excited, of course, that their father is home, and they have this wonderful family dinner. However Mon-El throws a wrench into things when he has suspicions about Jeremiah,” she said in the newly-released clip.
At a screening last Friday of this week’s new episode, actress Chyler Leigh, who plays Jeremiah’s daughter, Alex Danvers, told reporters about how his return will impact the family.
“It definitely brings up a lot of questions, that’s for sure,” Leigh said. “Alex so wholeheartedly wants to believe that he’s absolutely right and that everybody should just jump in and trust him and no questions asked, I think, just from the standpoint of being a daughter and not having seen him in so long.”
“Supergirl” continues Monday at 8/7c on The CW.
